He was born in 1952 in Çorum. He graduated from İstanbul Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is the Chairman of the Board of Alapala Group and Alapala Makine Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. Being businessperson and entrepreneur of the year in 1998, being among the 100 most Efficient Businessperson of Anatolia in 2008, Alapala was selected as one of the 50 most influential businesspersons of Anatolia in a competition held by Ekonomist in 2011. He served as the DEİK Turkish Indonesian Business Council Chairman and Vice President of Çorum Chamber of Trade and Industry.
